Stellenbosch Outrides

Saddle up for a memorable adventure through our 240-hectare wildlife sanctuary on horseback! Along the way, you’ll encounter zebra, springbok, eland, gemsbok, kudu, giraffe, wildebeest, bontebok, and a rich variety of birdlife. No riding experience? No problem! This fun-filled activity is perfect for the whole family – from your younger sister to your older brother. We welcome groups of up to seven riders, and our friendly, experienced guides will be there to support you every step (or trot) of the way!

Our herd is made up of 10 gentle Boerperd horses, three sturdy Percheron crossbreeds, and one impressive Clydesdale cross. These well-cared-for horses live an easy-going life, spending their days enjoying the trails with our guests. They’re calm, reliable, and know their job well — perfect companions for your horseback adventure.

Each horse has their own personality and story, and we can’t wait for you to meet them all.
