Noordhoek Beach Rides

Noordhoek Beach Rides

Our stables are situated in Kommetjie, connected to Noordhoek via Long Beach with its rural country feel, charming local shops and restaurants. It is linked to the Cape Town area via one of the world’s great roads, the spectacular Chapman’s Peak drive, with its incredible views of the Atlantic coast.

Long Beach is over 8km long and backed by National park-protected wetlands, as a result offers the best beach outride in Cape Town. Our 1 hour, 45 min starts with negotiating wetlands before you reach the unspoiled stretch of beach with magnificent views of Chapman’s Peak and The Centinal.

A walk and subtle trot along the well-known beach offers horse riders a variety of wildlife and the washed-up ruins of Kakapo, a shipwreck that dates back to 1900. Our beach rides are suitable for both complete novice and expert levels of experience. We offer 3 scheduled departures daily, do note that there is a minimum age of 12 years and a maximum weight allowance of 95kgs.
